WEEKLY PROGRAM
Weekend Competitions
18 hole Club Competitions are played every Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday [except Christmas Day] subject to major event dates.
Visitors with Golf Australia handicaps, or equivalent, are welcome to participate.

WAGS [Wednesday Afternoon Golf Society]
A 9 hole fun Stableford competition is conducted every Wednesday afternoon between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. WAGS handicaps are adjusted commensurate with each week's winnings [or losings]. Local non-members and visitors [male & female] are welcome to attend on payment of green fees. Handicaps will be allocated by pro-shop staff.

Sevens Golf [Monday - Sunday]
A 9 hole modified golf competition made up of teams of 7 players who play as a team against other teams in the competition.  Your 9 hole round can be played any day of the week at a time suitable for you.  Sevens golf is designed for all social golfers using the Calloway handicaping system for those without a handicap (you don' t need an AGU handicap to take part).  For all enquiries contact the Golf Shop on 89526575.

Veteran Golfers' Club
The Alice Springs Veteran Golfers' Club [the Dinosaurs] holds its weekly 9 hole Stableford competition every Tuesday afternoon between 3.00pm and 4.00pm. This is a combined competition with local members of the NT Senior Women's Golf Association. Vets' handicaps accrue in a similar fashion to WAGS handicaps. Male visitors [55 yrs +] and female visitors [50 yrs +] are welcome to attend on payment of green fees. Handicaps are determined by our Dinosaur Captain.

Ladies' Competition
Every Thursday morning at 8.30am [summer] or 9.00am [winter], the ladies conduct a 9 hole Stableford competition. Handicaps are determined in a particularly female fashion. Visitors are welcome.

NT Police Golf Club
The Alice Springs branch of the NT Police Golf Club plays its weekly 9 hole competition on Mondays.  Members and guests may play at any time through the day.  The format is usually Stableford with handicaps adjusted weekly in a similar mode to WAGS.  Monthly Medal events are played on the first Monday of the month when players use their GA handicaps or official Police Golf handicaps.  An annual Territory-wide NT Police Golf Championship is played over a nominated 4 week period during the year when, once again, GA or official handicaps apply.

Course Closures
The golf course will be closed for social golf during upcoming major events - [to be advised].

Soft Spike Rule
Metal spikes are not permitted on the golf course, practice range or putting green.

BUNKERS RESTAURANT
Restaurant  and Function Centre specialising in Modern Australian Cuisine at the Golf Club provides superb dining and is open Wednesday to Saturday for dinner from 6-9pm, and Saturday and Sunday Lunch 12 - 2pm. Please see the Menu link below.

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Limited Membership - A new category that replaces 4 and 6 Day Membership. As well as giving full access to clubhouse facilities, this category allows members to play social golf on any day and at any time that social golf is permitted on the course. Limited Members are not permitted to play in Golf Australia sanctioned competitions but may play in midweek matches such as WAGS, Ladies or Vets competitions. Limited Members are not eligible to serve on the Management Committee or to vote at club general meetings.

A one off joining fee of $110 is applicable for all new members, except Students, Juniors, Pee Wee and Social members.
